ALETHIA is a Colombian-born, Melbourne-based soulful artist, three-time Latin Grammy nominee, singer-songwriter, and semi-finalist on The Voice Colombia. With a voice described as soft, sensual and deeply expressive, her music explores themes of love, identity, and spiritual healing — resonating with audiences across cultures.

Awarded a full scholarship in Contemporary Music, ALETHIA moved to Australia to study at JMC Academy, where she later completed a Master’s degree in Creative Industries. Her cross-cultural journey has become a defining element of her artistry, blending Latin American roots with the vibrant Australian music landscape.

Her genre-defying sound fuses soulful and jazz-infused vocals with R&B, pop, reggae, rock, dub, and electronic elements, delivered through bilingual lyrics that celebrate heritage, resilience, and emotional depth.

In 2023, she was nominated for a Music Victoria Award for Best Reggae Work with her single “To You’, and was previously featured in Rolling Stone Australia (2022).

Her debut self-titled concept album, ALETHIA, was launched in August 2024 with a sold-out performance at Melbourne’s iconic Athenaeum Theatre. Structured in four acts — Roots, Nostalgia, Love, and Hope —the album journeys through Latin pop, reggae and R&B, drum & bass and dub, culminating in psychedelic rock textures, reflecting a powerful exploration of identity, healing, and transformation.

Following the impact of her debut release, ALETHIA was honoured by the Colombian Ambassador to Australia in 2025, receiving a commemorative coin in recognition of her cultural contribution to the Colombia–Australia relationship during the celebration of 50 years of diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Continuing to expand her presence in the Australian music scene, ALETHIA performed at St Kilda Festival 2025 and Love Reggaeton Fest, where she shared the stage with international star Nicky Jam. She also released “Cold Kiss” with Ethiopian artist Nhatty Man and “Waiting For Your Love” with three-time music award winner Jah Wise.

In 2026, she returned to St Kilda Festival as she prepares to release her highly anticipated second album under the ALETHIA project — marking a bold new chapter in her artistic evolution.
